Landing in Hyannis

Our Approach...

is straight up Anglicanism.

We know God to be God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost - The Holy Trinity.

We worship using the Authorized or King James Version of the Bible, the form and rubrics of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and the 1940 Hymnal.

We strive to love the Triune God with all our heart, soul and mind and our neighbor as ourselves. Our beliefs are summarized in the Nicene and Apostles Creeds. Our bishops, priests and deacons are men. We hold that Holy Matrimony can consist only in the union of one man with one woman. We are pro-life from conception to natural death.

Our Story...

originates with Anglicans who have come together, more than 80 million of us, from every point of the compass.

Our principal common characteristic is 'former', as in former-Episcopalian, former-Roman Catholic, former-Methodist, former-Lutheran, former-you name it. We even have former-Anglicans among us. And our Bishop is an Anglican Scottish Messianic Jew!

If you are seeking or are already a Christian who loves Jesus and looking for a biblical, orthodox, traditional church, you will feel right at home at the Church of the Resurrection.
